This is the year of jubilee

Today as I travelled home I missed my train. I travel on the Jubilee line and have become accustomed to travelling on the newer version trains. They tend to be cleaner and everything looks bright and shiney. When you commute every day, it’s the little things that keep you sane. So I missed the new train. But look at God, exactly 1 minute later the next train came along and it was another new train!! Now apart from the joy that was swelling in my heart. I also learnt a valuable lesson. It may look like you’ve missed the boat….do not despair….what you appear to have missed will show up for you again. My pastor once said that there is a difference between passion and vision. Passions come and go, often change and are usually generated by feelings. Your vision however, will present itself to you in the same fashion every time. If the desire to write a book presents itself to you every year, there’s a good chance that part of your vision in life is to become a writer. I for one will take stock of what I have been repeatedly ignoring year on year. In the pursuit of these exploits I will choose to become the best version of myself.
